Answers to your questions
General
What qualifications and experience does Clementine bring to her work?
Clementine is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) through the International Coaching Federation and a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC). She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Anthropology and a Master's degree in Coexistence and Conflict. She also brings more than 20 years of experience in international leadership, peacebuilding, community development and facilitation across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Americas.
What is Clementine's philosophy on resilience?
Clementine sees resilience as more than toughness or the ability to keep pushing through difficulty. Her work explores resilience as flexibility: knowing when to adapt, when to pause, when to ask for support and when something needs to change. Sustainable resilience allows us to move through change without losing connection with ourselves.
What does Clementine mean by “returning to yourself”?
Returning to yourself isn't about going backwards or rediscovering an old version of who you were. It's about creating enough space to hear your own values, needs and perspective beneath the expectations and identities you've accumulated along the way. It means moving forward with a stronger connection to yourself.
Is Clementine's work only for expatriates or people who have lived internationally?
No. Living across cultures can make questions of identity and belonging particularly visible, but these experiences aren't limited to expatriates.
Career changes, parenthood, leadership, relationships, relocation, success, ageing and other life transitions can all leave us questioning who we are now and how the different parts of our lives fit together.
Why are identity and belonging central to Clementine's work?
Clementine has spent much of her own life moving between countries, cultures, careers, communities and roles. That experience led to a question that now sits at the heart of her work: how do we build a sense of self that feels fully our own when our lives have been shaped by many different worlds? Her work explores what it means not simply to fit in, but to belong without losing ourselves in the process.
What does it mean to have an “integrated sense of self”?
An integrated sense of self means being able to bring the different parts of who you are together rather than feeling you need to become a different version of yourself depending on where you are or who you are with. It is about knowing what matters to you, feeling at home within yourself and making choices from that foundation rather than constantly adapting to external expectations.
Does Clementine only work with executives and leaders?
No. While executive and leadership coaching is an important part of Clementine's work, her wider work is for people navigating questions of identity, belonging, transition and change. You don't need to hold a particular title or leadership position to benefit from working with Clementine.
Who does Clementine work with?
Clementine works with leaders, professionals, founders and globally minded people navigating change, growth or transition. Many of the people drawn to her work are outwardly successful but find themselves asking deeper questions about who they are now, where they belong and what they want from the next chapter of their lives.
What does Clementine specialise in?
Clementine works at the intersection of identity, belonging, leadership and transition. She is particularly interested in helping people understand who they are beneath the roles, expectations and environments they have learned to adapt to, so they can live and lead from a more integrated sense of self.

Retreats
Do I need to have worked with a coach before attending?
No. You don't need any previous coaching or retreat experience. You simply need to be open to reflection, conversation and giving yourself some time away from everyday life.
Can I attend the retreat on my own?
Absolutely. Many women attend alone. Retreats are intentionally small, typically no more than eight participants which creates an environment where it feels natural to meet others while still having space for yourself.
Do I have to participate in every retreat activity?
No. Clementine’s retreats are intentionally designed to give you choice.
There will be a mixture of indoor and outdoor experiences, conversation, reflection and personal time. You are encouraged to participate in the experiences that feel right for you and use the quieter moments in whatever way you need.
What happens at Clementine's retreats?
Each retreat combines facilitated conversations and reflection with shared meals, time in nature, gentle movement, rest and opportunities to connect with a small group of women. There is depth, but also plenty of lightness, laughter and time simply to be.
Who are Clementine’s retreats for?
Clementine’s retreats are for women who want to step away from everyday life, reconnect with themselves and create space to consider where they are and what might come next. You may be navigating change or simply feel ready for time away from the usual demands and expectations. You don't need to arrive with a problem to solve or a goal to achieve.
Is the Martha’s Vineyard Retreat a therapy or wellness retreat?
No. Clementine’s retreat is coaching and reflection based rather than a therapeutic programme. Conversations may be personal and meaningful, but the experience focuses on self-awareness, connection, reflection and considering how you want to move forward.
What is included in the Martha’s Vineyard Retreat?
The retreat includes accommodation, facilitated workshops and group coaching sessions, selected shared meals and retreat materials. Exact inclusions are confirmed for each retreat.
What will we do during the retreat?
The retreat includes facilitated sessions, reflective conversations, shared meals, personal time and opportunities to experience Martha’s Vineyard through walks, beaches, sunsets and time exploring the island. The schedule offers structure without filling every moment, leaving space to rest, read, journal, explore or simply be.
How many women attend the Martha’s Vineyard Retreat?
The retreat is intentionally intimate, typically bringing together no more than eight women. The small group creates space for meaningful conversation and connection without losing the personal time and quiet that are central to the experience.
Where is Martha’s Vineyard?
The Martha’s Vineyard Retreat is held annually on Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts, typically during the first weeks of October. Clementine intentionally chooses this quieter time of year so participants can experience a slower side of the island, away from the peak summer crowds.
Group Coaching
Who is Reinvent Yourself for?
The "Reinvent Yourself" workshop is for people at a crossroads, whether they are navigating a transition, adjusting to a new chapter or simply questioning what they want from the next stage of your life. You don't need to have the answers or even know exactly what needs to change. You can start with where you are. This workshop offers a great community for exploring this transition stage in life.
What happens during a group coaching session?
Sessions combine facilitated conversation and personal reflection with creative exercises that may include movement, music, art or storytelling. Each session explores a particular theme or question, with space to reflect individually and learn through conversation with others.
How is group coaching different from one-on-one coaching?
One-on-one coaching is centred entirely around your individual experience. Group coaching adds the perspectives, stories and insights of others.
Sometimes hearing someone articulate something you have also felt can help you see your own experience differently. The group becomes part of the learning.
What is group coaching?
Group coaching brings people together to explore meaningful questions through guided conversation, personal reflection and shared experience. You have the opportunity to consider your own experiences while hearing different perspectives from people who may be navigating similar questions, transitions or changes.

What is the duration of one on one coaching with Clementine?
Every coaching relationship is different. Some clients work with Clementine for three to six months, while others choose to continue for six to eighteen months as their work and life evolve. The aim is not to create dependence on coaching, but to strengthen your ability to trust yourself and navigate what comes next.
What happens during a coaching session?
Sessions are confidential conversations designed to give you space to slow down, reflect and think differently. Clementine uses thoughtful questions, observation and healthy challenge to help you explore what is happening beneath the surface and identify your own way forward. Sessions last up to an hour and can take place virtually or in person depending on where you are based.
What can I work on in the sessions?
Coaching conversations can explore leadership, career and life transitions, identity, belonging, decision-making, relationships, boundaries, purpose and the experience of navigating change. The focus will depend on what is happening in your life. Rather than following a fixed programme, Clementine works with the questions that matter most to you.
Who is one on one coaching for?
Clementine works with leaders, professionals and people navigating periods of change or transition. You may be stepping into a new role, questioning what comes next, moving between cultures or simply feeling that the life you have built no longer fully reflects who you are.
